The Lines Company and Te Nehenehenui Trust have partnered to provide equitable community-based renewable energy solutions.
Working with iwi organisations and two marae, TLC has successfully modelled a distributed energy solution and supporting services to deliver a range of positive outcomes for whānau and hapū.
Recipients of gifted energy have reduced their energy costs, while the scheme has also improved participants’ health and wellbeing, energy education and awareness.
